So this is our second summer being married and this summer we did the summer sales thing again but this time we went to L.A. This summer was sooo much better Steve did way better selling this year and we went to a place where there was much more to do than Minneapolis.
I worked in the office again so there were definitely long days but we enjoyed ourselves much more. We lived in Studio City which is practically Burbank. Universal Studios was right across the street from our apartments and Warner Brothers studios was right down the road and Hollywood Blvd was like 5 min away just a hop skip and a jump on the freeway.
Me & Steve celebrated our one year anniversary and he took me to Cheesecake Factory right on the pier where we ate dinner and then went to the beach and walked around and we topped it off with ice cream at Baskin Robbins. While we were in L.A. we shopped or to say the least I shopped we ate out a lot and we found the most amazing Mexican restaurant called Don Cuco's we went to Universal Studios twice and went to City Walk a lot it was like a strip outside of Universal Studios where they have lots of restaurants, shops, and a movie theater.
We also attended 2 of our friends weddings one in Oakland and one in Sacramento. We went to 2 L.A. Dodgers baseball games one like the first week we were there and again with our whole entire office. We also went to the beach a lot we mainly went to either Santa Monica or Huntington Beach. Huntington Beach was a lot nicer we started to go there more towards the end of the summer and when
my sister came for her 21st birthday we went to dinner on the Santa Monica pier we went to the market downtown L.A. where i got a knock of Louis purse and Linds got knock off Chanel earrings, we went to Hollywood Blvd, Rodeo Dr, and some shopping outlets that had Abercrombie and Hollister.
While we were there Steve knocked on Shia LaBeouf's house where he talked to him for an hour on his porch and I saw Johnny from Real World/ Road Rules at the beach in Huntington and Steve also knocked on one of the bad guys "Dutch" from Karate Kid we also had
John Heder better known as "Napoleon Dynamite" in our family ward at church and like a couple of weeks before we left for the summer me and Steve decided to see if we could find Rob & Big's house because I thought I saw a house that looked like theres from the road so we drove up there one Sunday to see if we could find it and sure enough we drove up there and found it!
I was so shocked that we actually had found it! This was probably one of the best summers I have ever had there was lot to do and it was fun to live in L.A. for the summer it definitely made up for the summer before.
