When Steve Proposed

Okay so me and steve were doing long distance my winter semester but we knew we wanted to get married so steve was not in school winter semester so he stayed home in Portland to make some money to buy me a ring and I was in Rexburg going to school. So I was planning on going to Portland like the first week in February because we had to get our engagement pictures done in time to send them out for our wedding at the end of April so i knew he would just have to propose to me then because i had to have a wedding ring on in my engagement pictures. So for probably a month all i kept thinking about was how he was going to propose because i knew it was coming but anyways we had been doing long distance since before the Christmas break. It was awful I'm so glad those days are over but Steve had told me he was sending me a package and to be looking for it and I should get it by Sat that week so he had me excited that whole week because I had no idea what he was going to send me. Well anyways I had to work that Saturday and at he time I was working at Candie's Closet and I got off at 6 and my sister said my package had come so I was excited to come home and see what it was. So when I came home Linds and Tyson were there and when I walked in the door the lights were off and there were votive candles lit all the way back to my bedroom and when i walked in there was a dozen red roses balloons that said I Love You and my package there on the desk and so I turned to Linds and was like did Steve get you to do this and she was like yeah he sent me some money to do it and i was like aww that was so sweet of him and so I turned back around and was getting ready to open my package and I turned back to Linds and for some reason asked her if that was the package and she said yeah and for so I turned back around I dont know why probably because they were standing in the doorway and maybe i kinda knew something was going on but as i turned around out of the corner of my eye I saw Steve kneeling on one knee half way in my closet with a ring in his hand and it took me a second to realize what just happened and I screamed and started crying and ran over to him and fell on my knees and was just hugging and kissing him. I was just so excited to see him and he totally caught me off guard because i was leaving in a week to go to Portland so he completely caught me off guard. He pulled off the best engagement ever because I seriously had no idea what was happening. So on January 21st we were officially engaged!
