It's official Steve and I are expecting our first baby!

We officially found out Iwas pregnant on September 20th and we were both totally ecstatic and scared at the same time.
Something funny Steve said was, "because the lines are pink does that mean it's going to be a little girl?" ahh men, they are totally oblivious to some things, but I thought it was really cute he said that.I had my first doctors appointment on November 11th, which didn't start off so great. I threw up 3 times that morning before my appointment. Steve was at work, so I drove by myself to the doctor. I was expecting to have just a normal check up, blood work, medical history and hopefully get to hear the baby's heartbeat. I met my doctor for the first time - she is super nice and I really like her. After talking with her about my medical history and about me and Steve, I asked her what else would we be doing for my first appointment. I specifically asked if I would get to hear the baby's heartbeat because Steve was able to get off work early and wanted him to be there, she said "yeah" and she normally likes to do that on the first appointment. She was so nice and waited for Steve to get there. Instead of just the heartbeat, I had my first ultrasound. Steve and I got to see the baby for the first time - it was so amazing to see that there was actually something growing inside me. The pictures below are the baby at 9 weeks and my next appointment is this Wednesday, and I will get to see how much the baby has grown. My official due date is May 31st and we are counting down the months and cant wait to meet the new addition to our family.I love this picture because you are able to see the baby's profile and how long it actually is. The baby was moving around so much and gave us a lot of different shots. We got a few good pictures. I hope this happens when it comes time to find out what the sex of the baby is. We cant wait to find out - Steve is hoping for a little boy, which I am fine with, but would also love to have a little girl. Everybody seems to think we are having a little boy, so I have come to accept the fact that we are probably going to have a little boy - I can hardly wait!

Steve loves this picture because it looks like the baby is looking at us, and we thought it was super cute because it has it's little arms up by it's face.
