Our Amazing trip to Hawaii

So me and Steve finished up winter semester Thursday April 10 well I actually finished that Wednesday and Steve finished Thursday by 4:15 and we had to be to the airport by 5:30 to fly to Portland that night. So we got to Portland around 10 that night and had to fly out the next morning at 9:00 to go to Hawaii with his family. It was a long 2 days actually it was a long week trying to finish up with finals and everything I dont think me or Steve got much sleep but we had a long nice week to look forward to of relaxing and chilling at the beach. So we got into Hawaii around noon on Friday and checked into our hotel around 3 and hit the beach. I was soo exhausted from getting no sleep and the time change is crazy it's 3 hrs behind from Portland 4 hrs behind Idaho and 5 hrs behind my parents in Memphis. It was crazy it would be like 6 o'clock and light outside in Hawaii and it would be 11p.m. and dark in Memphis and way too late to call my parents because they would be asleep. I had to figure out every time I called them what time it was there to make sure they would be awake. It was crazy! We stayed a week and a day the weather was pretty nice the whole time it was in the 80s everyday. It would be sunny most of the day but I think everyday it was cloudy at some point. Steve got burned twice because he said he didn't feel like putting sun screen on so therefore he suffered a couple of days me on the other hand was smart and didn't get burned once. We didn't do much but hanging out on the beach the boys took a surfing lesson which I think they liked but were exhausted afterwards. We ate out every night and walked up and down the strip at night. It was a really cool atmosphere lots of people on the streets doing things for money. We were in a really nice area there were tons of high end stores I felt like I was in Beverly Hills on Rodeo drive. We had lots of fun hanging out with his family and it was a nice break from crazy cold snowy Idaho weather.
