Trip to Seaside, OR

So this weekend I had off work and me I have been wanting to go to the coast and we thought it would be the perfect weekend to go because we checked the weather and it said it would be in the 80's. So we get down there around 2 on Sat and it was so foggy you could barely see the ocean once you were out there so once again weather.com fails us! The weather is so unpredictable out there the last time Steve and I went was the day after we got married and it was freezing! But we still had a lot of fun! We walked down to the beach and were suprised how many people were out there because you couldn't see very well.We walked down to the water to put our feet in and the water was ice cold I have no idea how people were able to get in it. It seriously would be like getting in a tub full of ice water and more ice than water! It was definately painful just putting your feet in! After we walked around on the beach we walked around a ton of cool shops! This one shop they had was full of candy and all different kinds of candy. My sister would have been in heaven! they have everything from salt water taffy (which is huge down at seaside and off course we bought a big bag of all these different flavors such as cotton candy, neopolitan, strawberry banana, watermelon, bubblegum, and some more) we also bought some amazing fudge and fudge that also had carmel and marshmallow in it (amazing) they also had tons of different candy such as candy ciggarettes which steve bought (he had to buy them for old times sake but they ended up not being the right ones they were like tootsie rolls wrapped in paper. They also had a sign on the bucket with all the candy cigarettes saying we always promote candy eating but not smoking! It was kind of cute!) they also had everything from zots to chocolate covered twinkis I thought I was in the movie Willie Wonka and right across from them was there sister store of homeade ice cream wich we came back to after we ate dinner at this Mexican restaurant and yes we love Mexican food its our favorite! So after we ate dinner we went to some outlet malls down there and came back for our ice cream Steve got this birthday cake ice cream which was amazing it looked like a funfetti cake just in ice cream and i got my favorite mint chocolate chip! We had such a fun time even though the weather was crappy and will be going back very soon maybe for my birthday!
