I know this is a long post SORRY! So it started kind of Thursday night in which i opened my mom's package that she sent because I thought I was going shopping Friday but then it got pushed back to Saturday, but thanks mom and DAD most definately! It's rare I get anything separate normally my mom just gives me and my sister something it's like my mom is in charge of that but it was a nice suprise to see that my Dad added a nice little check also I really wanted to frame it but anyways thank you bunches Love ya and wish you could have been here! So life has been a little crazy lately I feel like I work all the time plus a little more. So I took off work Friday through Monday! It was such a nice break from the stress of my job! So Friday DAY 1, we hiked up Multnomah Falls its a mile long but a pretty steep incline in parts! It was a lot of fun and some nice exercise which I felt the next day and I am still feeling it! It was me, Steve, Ryan (his brother), his parents and his grandpa that were in town and I can't forget Stockton (Steve's parents dog). Steve's grandpa made it about half way and the rest of us made it to the top! Ryan and Stockton are the only ones that got in the water and Ryan only put his feet in and he didnt keep them in very long because he said it was extremely cold but Stockton on the other hand was having a good ole time laying down in the water and splashin around. As you can see we walked all the way up to where the water starts to fall and the very top! Bre, Whit, and Annie you might remember this from our trip to the Oregon Coast for that Pacific Coast Discovery program that we all did at BYU-I a few years back! I know we didn't do the hike but we stopped to take pictures because it was right off the highway! So after our little outdoor adventure we went and ate at On the Border it's a Mexican Restaurant similar to Chevy's I would say. It was a good and fun day! So Saturday DAY 2 It was my day to shop and spend some money, we started off at this mall by our place and of course I couldnt really find anything! Once you have money to shop you can never find anything but I got one thing there and we went to Nike because I thought about getting some shoes that I saw some there a couple of weeks ago but they didnt have my size anymore. So I asked Steve if we could go to the mall over there.. which I had better luck and found me 4 shirts so it was a good day of shopping and my husband is such a good sport! I need my sister here so I don't have to drag him along! So after the mall all day we went to dinner at this little place called Bandito Taco Steve's old soccer coach owns it so Steve likes to stop in every now and then to say hey! So after that we went to Target and bought this dresser and nightstand that I have been wanting so we went home and put the nightstand together and that was it for day 2. Sunday DAY 3 we didnt do much of anything we just went out to Steve's parents for dinner and to say bye to his grandpa because he was leaving the next morning and oh yeah I put our new dresser together before we went out to his parents and I did it with the help of Steve handing and passing me stuff. Im bad I like to take charge and do things myself so I know my husband doesn't mind because then he gets out of doing it! So Monday DAY 4 my actual Birthday the Big 25 Quarter of a century! Well Steve had an interview with this Boy's school at 1 and so our plan was after his interview we would meet up at Cheesecake Factory and eat lunch together. Well most of his interviews have been lasting around 30 minutes and i got screwed this time, it last like 2 hours so we didn't eat lunch till 3:30. It was really good and I got a little dessert for my birthday but no cheesecake! But we did order one. So that was it until dinner which we met up with Steve's parents and Ryan at California Pizza Kitchen around 7:30 so I got round 2 of an ice cream sundae! They did the same thing Cheesecake Factory does except California Pizza Kitchen's was bigger so there is about 3 different pics of me blowing out birthday candles! So afterwards they came over for cake and ice cream which was amazing we got Take the Cake ice cream from Dreyer's if you haven't had it, it is a must try! Most amazing ice cream ever! Fronce you would love it! So that was about it for my 4 days off! It was great and I enjoyed it and now I am back to real life! Thanks for everybody that called or sent a card it was greatly appreciated and wish yall could have been here to celebrate it with me!
