Tim & Janessa Come to Visit

The Fronce's came to visit us this past Saturday and left us today and we sure do miss having them around already! Good news is that more than likely they will be moving up here sometime in the fall so I will soon have a girlfriend to hang out with so I'm really excited! While they were here unfortunately I had to work 2 of the days they were in town so I didn't get to spend as much time with them as Steve did but I enjoyed being able to hang out when I was off work! When they flew in Thursday both Steve and I were off so we were able to pick them up from the airport and then we went to lunch at Chili's and walked around the mall. This Chili's is the only Chili's left in Portland and it is about 20 minutes from our apartment and even longer with traffic so we have not made a trip out there since we moved here so it was nice to finally go! After we left the mall we went over to Steve's parents house because Tim is practically part of the Gibson family, so we hung out over there for the rest of the night. Friday I worked but that night we went to this Mongolian grill place... not very good, then the mall and a movie to see Paul Blart mall cop. Saturday I worked again and when I got off we went to see the Harlem Globetrotters, which Steve got tickets for me for Valentines Day because I have always wanted to see them... it was very disappointing though, not what I expected at all! We then went to Coldstone and then Ryan's place to watch Eagle Eye... couldn't tell you if it was good fell asleep on the floor with the bose surround sound and everything! Completely exhausted my bed time these days is around 12 plus I had a lot going on that day with work and then the globetrotters... im just not cut out for it these days being pregnant! I can't last! Sunday we had church and then went out to his parents for dinner. Monday was the fun day we went to the beach! We went to Cannon Beach and then Seaside. In Portland it was raining so we were worried it might be crappy weather and it turned out that the beach was sunny. It was windy at times but much better weather than back in Portland. Cannon Beach is gorgeous it has all the huge rocks out in the ocean and Seaside has all the fun shops to walk around to! We found this place at Seaside that is new they have pizza and arcade games so we played games for like an hour it was a lot of fun! They have this new arcade game Deal or No Deal it's like you are on the show but instead of playing for money you play for tickets! It was the highlight of our arcade game experience! After we left the beach we met Steve's parents and brothers downtown for dinner on the river. Tim and Janessa left us that night because Steve and I both had work the next day and couldn't take them to the airport so Steve's mom took them for us. It was so nice to have friends visit and we can't wait till they move out here!
